DURING A WEBINAR, your video and microphone will be off. However you can use the CHAT feature and type a question or comment or you can use the RAISE YOUR HAND feature and request to use your microphone. These features will be monitored during the Zoom as best as possible. If you are having any trouble during the webinar, please call 212-924- 8438 to speak to Andrew Tedesco.

All members MUST attend One (1) NJSBUA Chapter Interpretation meeting in-person. In addition, you must also attend Two (2) additional meetings to remain in good standing for a Total of Three (3). For 2026 we have scheduled Two (2) in-person meeting and Two (2) being held via the ZOOM. 

Live In Person meetings will not be recorded this year.

*** During the first two live meetings Packets will be available. Please come 15 minutes early to pick up. *** Any Packet not picked up will be sent back.  Please make sure you attend one of the Live meetings

The day after each meeting the link to the recording will be below that date. Click the link  to watch.  You will have Seven (7) days, and then it will be removed. Last, we were informed by ZOOM support that if you are having issues connecting to the meeting or recording, some of the reason could be:​​

1) The user is already registered with another ZOOM account, such as work ZOOM account

2) The user is using a work email or computer which their company can restrict the use for personal usage

3) The user never accepted the invite to the NJSBUA ZOOM account and has not created a Password.

These are only a few of the issues you might face.  We recommend you never use a work email or computer. If you have, you should create a personal email account, such as gmail, and then make the changes to all NJSBUA systems.

For the ZOOM meetings you will be sent the link prior to the meeting, as well as, the link also being listed below the meeting date. In order to join the meeting or watch the recording you must follow the follow steps:

1. Log into your ZOOM Account and keep it open

2. Go back to email and click the link.

3. Make sure your Full Name appears. Without this information you may not get credit for attending or viewing the Recording.

Use the CHAT button at the bottom and type a question or comment.

RAISE YOUR HAND to request to be able to speak.

REFSEC ATTENDANCE @ Live Meetings- 

Instructions on How to Sign In Attendance to Live meetings on your phone.

1. Go to App store and download RefSec Mobile app

2. Enter your phone number

3. Allow Refsec to use your location. You must do this, it's okay!!

4. Find the date and time of Meeting you are attending and Check In.

5. Make sure you have a green check mark and you are now confirmed as attending the mandatory meeting!

You will also recieve a email from Refsec confirming your recorded attendance.
