The 2026 NJSBUA BANQUET was held on Thursday June 18th

The Annual NJSBUA Banquet was held this year at the Knights of Columbus in
Livingston on June 18th. We had an overflow crowd that had a great time mingling with their fellow Umpires to reminisce about their season.
     We had a very special guest that was invited and he wasn’t sure that he could make the banquet until the day before. He said that he would be happy to attend, and he even thanked us for asking him. Our guest was Belleville’s own, 27 year MLB umpire, ( and just recently retired) Phil Cuzzi. Phil was gracious enough to answer questions from our members about his outstanding career in MLB.
      But the highlight of the night was to honor our fellow members who received awards
For their continued support of our organization.

There were many prizes donated this year and handed out that night as seen on our website.
We would like to thank members Todd Walker, Rich Franco, Dennis LaScala, Billy Walsh,
Jose Rodriquez, Jack Venezia and Jim Zielinski for their donations to the event.
       A very special thank you to our banquet committee for all their hard work to make it possible.
